Our marine collagen begins there. We source peptides exclusively from the by-products of Iceland's certified food fisheries — material that has already come ashore for human consumption. No fish is caught for skincare. Nothing is added to the ocean's burden.
The science is straightforward, but the execution is not
Collagen extracted from cold-water species maintains a tighter triple-helix structure than warm-water alternatives. When hydrolyzed below 40°C, those peptides remain small and water-soluble — the result is a serum that absorbs quickly and sits lightly on the skin rather than forming a film on the surface.
We produce four formulas. The Marine Collagen Serum is the most technically demanding of them, because the raw material is seasonal and the cold-extraction window is narrow. When the fishery slows, we slow with it. The ocean sets the schedule, and we do not argue.
